A great book regarding the life of Clifford Olson

Clifford Olsen was a child molester also know as a "Skinner" as well as an informant also known as a "Rat". Based on this he was provided with protection as he was a target for other inmates.While in prison he was stabbed with scissors and a gang of inmates beat and kicked him with the intent of killing him. He did not have a normal childhood, he molested his sister and did not have a relationship with his other sibling s or his father. Yet he was very close to his mother. He claimed to have been molested and raped by his Uncle but his wife believed it was actually been abused by his father. This may be the reason Olsen became a pedophile. He would threaten girls with a knife to let him molest them. He once imprisoned his girlfriend and abused her. He was also theif, swindler and con artist. His mother would hide his behavior from his father to avoid the abuse he would endure had he found out. He appeared to be protected none of his victims were. A great book regarding the life of Clifford Olson, with many details that will shock you . A great read!!!

I truly enjoyed reading it

I read a lot of books, and I must say that this is one of the most exciting books I've read in quite some time. The story / plot is very detailed, and very graphic. As it is when a book of this type is written, it often seems that the writer (when giving details) they will sometimes make the story seem weak, because as it is here -- the victim just jumps into a strangers car without a second thought, thus the story seems less plausible. No one just jumps in to a car without any hesitation whatsoever. The story leading up to The Story, could use more detailed information to make and keep the book exciting to read. I WILL SAY ABOUT THIS BOOK : I truly enjoyed reading it, and quite honestly, I read it in two (2) days. GRERAT BOOK. Say I Must

Excellent introduction to the field

This book is well organized and comprehensive as an introduction to this field. It will suit the purposes of someone who seeks a well-grounded foundation in linguistics, even if s/he doesn't want to do further study. It also serves the purpose of the degree-seeking student who may have no background in the field. I read it carefully, took notes, and feel better prepared to succeed in the upcoming coursework which will address this material in greater depth.
The writing is accessible while still assuming a college-level knowledge of the concepts.
